Joe Riveting and amazing. Since this album is not on my normal listening service, I don't listen to this album too often, which makes every listen that much better. Recommend this album to people often, and will continue to do so. Favorite track: Moon.

Gabrielemenopee It's like a rubber band ball shaped like the Earth bouncing in slow motion inside your head. Excellent production and a sixth sense for groove keeps both ears attuned, imbibed and ecstatic, and the soul fulfilled. This sits comfortably zenning out in that rare haze between truly pretty and enthusiastically danceable. Favorite track: Moon.
Mark M

Mark M Funky, organic electronic grooviness that takes turns both expected and not. This and his other album are both great. Favorite track: Equinox.

paul chauncy Imagine Dilla & Madlib playing pong doubles with Squarepusher and Aphex Twin. It doesn't sound anything like that. MNDSGN having a cup of tea with Bibio? Not really that either. It's bloody good anyway. Favorite track: Aperture.

about

This is my first full solo release as Photay. The album is an accumulation of works from 2010-2012. It is an exploration of electronic music and natural sound. Half way through the making of this album I spent a month in Guinea, Africa studying hand drumming and balafon. The majority of the album was produced after the trip while heavily listening to african music and experiencing some wild culture shock.
